Interactive Graphics Services hit the web!

Marine Graphics, Inc. was officially formed in January 1994 by two lettering artists who found boaters needing to work with people who knew boats (ie. How to turn them around, tie them up without falling in the water, etcetera.) They needed a one-stop service that could not only prep and polish the lettering surface before lettering, but one that would then protect the lettering with varnish or wax and guarantee their work. Detailing and striping designs were natural extensions to this service.

The main studio is situated at the northern edge of "Sleepless" Lake Union in Seattle and provides customers with a good view of other boat names to confuse them while they're trying to decide what colors to use. The computer system is patched into a 27" television monitor so customers can sit back on the sofa while their boat is "digitally dolled up". With the advent of the WWW, the Internet store front was opened as a convenience to those with Web access. Parking should no longer pose a problem at the Tillicum Marina! John Marston, owner and chief player hopes to bring this service to retail outlets worldwide by helping other businesses to get connected and developing partnerships with qualified reps.
